I just have to keep reminding myself.

I am a junior in high school now. It is all almost over. The light at the end of the tunnel is in a hundred miles, but I sure can see it. High school isn’t all that it is made up to be. The upperclassmen don’t care about the underclassmen, nor do they pick on them. The drama, the heartache, the questioning, the long nights, and the over thinking sure are real. As real as it gets. An Era Has Ended

Millions of people connect with music on a personal and emotional level. As one of those people I connect albums with memories. Green Day’s American Idiot album connects me with memories of my middle school emo days, and when I made it a daily ritual to listen to Jesus of Suburbia every morning on my bus ride to school.  (more…)

Creating Everyday

Its been a hot second since I posted here on the old blog, but I am here now. Today is my sixteenth birthday, and it doesn’t feel any different. I feel exactly the same as I did yesterday, but that’s not the point.

Today marks the day that I am going to try my hardest to create every single day. Create anything, whether that is art or writing. I just want to start creating everyday and making that into my daily routine.

I’m going to try to figure out a way to post everything onto here, but I have a few ideas that I’m not to sure how to make them possible. I’ll figure it out.

I am getting older, and I’m excited to see what I make of myself in the future. I have confidence in myself.
